St. Peter’s pastor is Pastor Aaron Jensen.
Pastor grew up in East Brunswick, New Jersey and Ixonia, WI. Each year growing up he would come through Monticello on his way to visit his grandparents, who lived in Alexandria.
Pastor began his training for the pastoral ministry at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, receiving a BA in Greek and Hebrew in 2011. He then continued his training at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI, graduating in 2015 with an MDiv. He further received an STM in the area of New Testament from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2021 and is currently a PhD candidate at South African Theological Seminary in the area of New Testament Greek.
Prior to coming to Monticello, Pastor Jensen interned in Green Bay, WI, and served as a pastor in Adrian, MI for six years. He has served as pastor at St. Peter’s since 2021.
Pastor and his wife Carolyn have three sons. The Jensen family love music and books, and are enjoying life in Monticello.
